We’re looking to hire a UX/UI Designer for an Educational client.This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. The role is fully remote.Job Description: We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Design Lead to support our web and ecommerce user experience program and other online experiences. The ideal candidate should be proficient in design systems thinking and will work closely with:• Web Content Authors: Design and optimize web components.• Product Managers and Engineers: Ensure efficient design using Bootstrap 5.• Branding Stakeholders and Designers: Collaborate on content presentation within brand guidelines.• Business Stakeholders: Communicate design solutions informed by research and analytics.The Senior UX/UI Lead will work with research leads, UX designers, analytics teams, and product management to translate customer and business requirements into visual designs. They will manage a design roadmap, optimize design tools, and iteratively improve site experiences.Responsibilities:• Leadership: Align research initiatives with design processes.• UX/UI Ownership: Shape navigation, page layouts, and user flows; set priorities; guide timely project delivery.• Agile UX Strategy: Define and implement UX strategies within an agile framework.• System Standardization: Foster consistent, scalable, and accessible web design.• Cross-Team Collaboration: Promote design system adoption across teams.Job Requirements:• Education: BA/BFA in Design, HCI, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.• Experience:• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design experience (web and mobile). Ecommerce and/or ed tech experience is a plus.• Proficiency in UX software (Figma, Sketch, InVision, Storybook).
